This afternoon I was hiding out in my bedroom working on some new lesson plans for next week. Katie eventually noticed that I was missing, so came looking for me. As I typed, she jabbered away non-stop. I was only half listening to her. Pretty soon she came up to me, put her arms around me, and told me she loved me. I told her it makes me very happy when she tells me she loves me. She gave me a big smile, took my cheeks between her hands, and told me it makes HER happy when I do dishes. Gotta love 'em!
