Rite of Passage

Today was the day Katie discovered that the refrigerator light does in fact turn off when the door is closed. I just found her intently sticking her nose in the fridge, opening and closing until she saw the little turn-off lever at the top. She had her "aha!" moment, then smiled, closed the door, and walked away.

"The light of the righteous rejoices, but the lamp of the wicked will be put out." Proverbs 13:9

We also just finished up basketball season and the bouncing of the mini-basketballs in the house has been almost deafening. (we don't allow the full-size ball in the house - you know why!). I'm so used to the sound of bouncing balls....it seems like a way of life around here! My boys created their own makeshift goal out of a Huggies wipe box and hung it in our entryway, on the front door. You'd be amazed at the intense games that are played with a mini-basketball and a wipes box! ;-)

Welcome to the MOM Exercise Challenge!
